In a television first, the leaders of the UK's three main political parties will participate in three Prime Ministerial Debates to be broadcast live during the build-up to this year’s General Election. Sky News will screen the second of these historic debates from the South West of England in high definition on Sky Channel 517.
Sky News Political Editor Adam Boulton will act as moderator when Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg meet for what is sure to be a lively evening centring on international affairs.
With the Prime Minister having formally announced that the General Election will be held on Thursday 6 May, Sky News will air its debate on Thursday 22 April.
