Glen Oglaza



Political Correspondent Glen, a major face of Sky News’ political team, has reported from over 30 different countries in his career.

He has covered the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Velvet Revolution from Czechoslovakia and the fall of the Soviet Union from Moscow. Glen also spent a month with the Kurds of northern Iraq after their rebellion towards the end of the first Gulf War.

At home Glen has reported on the rise to power of Tony Blair, the Brown years and now keeps a close eye on the Coalition.

Glen was a reporter at IRN Radio before moving to be senior reporter at ITN for 10 years. He studied English at Aberdeen University after attending St Paul’s School in London. Glen lives in North London with his wife, who is an opera singer, and his son and daughter.
