Matt Smith

Matt Smith is Sky News' Entertainment Correspondent, covering music, film, arts and entertainment industry stories for the channel. 

Since starting at Sky in 2003, he’s covered the Oscars, Golden Globes, BAFTAs, Brits, Cannes and Venice film festivals, all live, as well as reporting stories from all over Europe.  As a result, he’s interviewed almost every major film and music name.  A tally that includes Paul McCartney, Madonna, Elton John, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Robbie Williams and Daniel Craig.

Other assignments include the BBC “Sachsgate” row and covering Michael Jackson’s memorial service live from Los Angeles.

Matt also presents news and programmes on Sky News.
