Chris Skudder

Chris Skudder is a Sports presenter and correspondent for Sky News. Chris has covered the Olympic games, the last four World Cups and has followed the England football team around the world over the past decade. Chris was ahead of the world’s media to report on the controversial decision for Germany to host the 2006 World Cup..

Chris has worked at Sky for 17 years. He is an old hand at presenting sport and voiced the original commercial trail for the pre cursor of the Sky Sports channel while freelancing as a sports broadcaster for British Satellite Broadcasting. From 1987-1991, he worked as Sports Editor for Ocean Sound Radio. Prior to that, Chris was a Sports journalist at Swansea Sound Radio.

Chris studied French and Drama at Goldsmiths College, London University. Originally from Birmingham, as a teenager Chris moved to Pembrokeshire where he still enjoys visiting his family.

Aside from his passion for sport – notably Birmingham City FC – Chris is fan of going to music festivals and gigs, running and photography. Chris lives in Berkshire with his wife and children.
