Adam presents Sky News’ Sunday Live with Adam Boulton on air from 1000 – 1200 noon. He is Political Editor of Sky News.

Adam has been at Sky News since the beginning. A pioneer of the innovative use of live analysis and pictures, it’s believed that he has spent more hours on television covering breaking stories than any other British television reporter. Adam has also reported live from every continent except Antarctica, presenting specials from around the world.

Adam is a winner of the Royal Television Society’s supreme Judges’ Award and was elected 2007 Chairman of the Parliamentary Lobby. His Sunday programme was voted “Current Affairs Show Of The Year.” Clive James described The Boulton Factor as “the best entertainment for grown-ups.” 

In 2010 Adam fronted the Sky News Leaders' Debate and led the coverage of the new Coalition Government. In 2009, he spent the first 100 days of Barack Obama’s Presidency reporting from the US and gained a UK exclusive broadcast interview during the President’s historic visit to Ghana. Adam has also interviewed every British Prime Minister from Gordon Brown back to Sir Alec Douglas-Home, and international stars ranging from Jane Fonda and Jordan to George W Bush and Al Gore. During the 2010 General Election Campaign Adam will moderate the first ever Sky News Leaders' Debate between Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg.

Adam is a frequent contributor to newspapers and magazines, including The Times, Sunday Times, Guardian, Spectator, New Statesman, Independent, Sunday Express and Sunday Mirror, and has been a guest of programmes such as Have I Got News For You, Newsnight and Bremner, Bird and Fortune. He has also published a book, ‘Tony’s 10 years: Memories of the Blair Administration’ recounting the key moments of Tony Blair’s premiership. 

Before Sky, Adam was Political Editor of TV-am. He is the only reporter ever to have doorstepped the Queen live on camera.

He has Masters degrees from Oxford and Johns Hopkins University.  He is married to Anji Hunter; they have five children between them.
